One of our favorite clients is Maryland Trust Title & Escrow, LLC based in Prince Frederick, MD. They are owned by the same group that owns RE/MAX One and Davis Upton & Palumbo, also of Maryland. They are fantastic clients. They have great content, grounded marketing strategies, and reputable business endeavors.
That makes our job easy.
Maryland Trust Title & Escrow provides settlement services for Maryland and Virginia. They serve both residential and commercial customers, and have a solid record of customer service and a high level of satisfaction among clients. But their branding and web presence had 2004 written all over it. So they approached us to update both. It quickly became one of the smoothest redesign processes we’ve ever been through.
We first tackled the logo design staying in the lines to avoid wrecking brand recognition. After changing a few fonts, we rounded edges and modernized the colors to capture the final product. Sometimes simple, targeted updates can make a world of difference.
Next we crafted the WordPress-based website from the ground up. After content was provided by the client and evaluated by us for SEO compliancy, we built the user experience and template based on the fresh new branding. We added simple call to action buttons and custom designed icons throughout the site to provide a potential client clear direction in mitigating the settlement process.
Our design process has taken a slight turn in ensuring mobile/responsive design is given at least 50% of our design attention if not more based on the statistics that point to mobile-first becoming the dominant design consideration.
We took into account page speed, user experience, as well as beauty and attractive aesthetics of the site – all strategies to increase client session time on the site (which leads to client conversion!).
If an attractive, responsive, functional, content-focused site is what you’re after, we’re your graphic designers and web developers.
